Northeast
Grow your family here
Of all the places to live in the Midlands, none is as dynamic as Northeast Richland County. It's one of the fastest-growing areas in the whole state. Just ask anyone who grew up near Two Notch Road if they still recognize the area.
Two Notch Road has always been a thriving commercial corridor. From Columbia Mall out to the Village at Sandhill, and beyond, there are an amazing variety of places to spend your money. There are an amazing number of living choices around Two Notch as well. Longtime favorites Spring Valley, Woodlands, and WildeWood offer established living and quality golf not far from the bustle of Two Notch.
To see just how much the Northeast has grown, take a drive along Two Notch from Columbia Mall, past Interstate 77, and keep going. Take a left onto Clemson Road and pass by the Village at Sandhill. Northeast Columbia's newest hot spot for shopping and dining will keep you entertained for hours on end. Along Clemson Road, you'll pass The Summit, the quintessential Northeast living experience. Homes for every budget can be found here, in a planned and manicured setting. You'll also pass schools, parks, churches and more—everything a growing family needs.
You'll cross Hard Scrabble Road and Longtown Road, two booming commercial areas. A trip down these streets will take you to family-friendly Lake Carolina or the golf haven of Longcreek Plantation, passing scores of brand-new homes. Ridge View High School is here as well; it's just one of the fine schools that Richland District Two has to offer.
A few more blocks brings you back to Interstate 77. From here you can get anywhere in Columbia in no time, and even the Charlotte metro area is just an hour's drive away.
