Russell & Jeffcoat Realtor Named to Board of Directors of Greater Columbia Association of Realtors

Columbia, SC- Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors is pleased to announce Desiree Merriweather has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Greater Columbia Association of Realtors (GCAR).

The mission of the GCAR is to be the organization in the Midlands that represents the standard for the real estate sales professional through the organization's Code of Ethics, educational offerings, information systems and involvement in local government issues.

Merriweather is involved with the GCAR in many ways, including: 2008 Chair of the Membership Committee and member of the Education Committee. She is the recipient of the 2006 Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors “Rising Star” award. Merriweather is involved with the South Carolina Association of Realtors, serving as a member of the Scholarship Committee and a graduate of the 2007 LeadershipSCAR program.
